How we print

Different jobs want different presses. The studio picks a sensible default for each item, and you can change it.

DTF Transfer

Full-colour transfer film pressed onto the fabric with heat.

Best for: Photographs, gradients and detailed artwork on cotton, polyester and blends. Our default for t-shirts and hoodies.

Sublimation

Ink turned to gas under heat so it dyes the surface itself rather than sitting on top.

Best for: Mugs, bottles, mousepads, cushion covers and anything white and polyester-coated. The print cannot peel because it is part of the surface.

Embroidery

Your design stitched into the fabric with coloured thread.

Best for: Caps, polo shirts, tote bags and corporate wear. Best for logos and text — not for photographs.

UV Print

Ink cured instantly by ultraviolet light, straight onto hard surfaces.

Best for: Steel bottles, wooden pieces, phone cases and keyrings. Full colour with a slightly raised finish.

Screen Print

Ink pushed through a mesh screen, one colour at a time.

Best for: Large runs of the same simple design. The cheapest per unit above fifty pieces, and the longest lasting on cotton.

We do not offer flex printing. It looks fine for a few weeks and then cracks along every fold. DTF transfer covers the same jobs and outlasts the garment, so that is what we use instead.
